About the event

This debut self-made documentary by David Mullings takes the viewer on a journey around the UK and offers insight into the stories of 5 Black Fathers. David also takes the viewer on a reflective journey of some of the thoughts and experiences he has encountered over the last 15 years of work he has been undertaking to support fathers.

This is the first public screening of the documentary which aired for the first time at a private screening where the following comments were made:

"It was gripping, gave insight, made me think, laugh, question, and  brought a tear to my eye!"

" It made my mascara run, as a woman and a mother it made me question some of the decisions I've made."

"The documentary throws a light on stereotypes and some misconceptions about Black fathers, there is a lot to consider with this documentary."

After watching the documentary,  a Q&A session with Fathers featured in the documentary, and then the opportunity to network and socialise.
