UNDERSTANDING DOMESTIC ABUSE  AND ITS IMPACT ON FAMILIES DISCIPLINE

Overview:

Welcome to the "Understanding Domestic Abuse & Its Impact on Families" workshop. This transformative program delves into the intricate facets of domestic abuse and the far-reaching implications it holds for families. Tailored for men who may be navigating their path towards acknowledging and addressing their abusive behaviours, this workshop offers a space of reflection, education, and empowerment.

Program Flexibility:

This enlightening workshop can be tailored to suit different formats: individualised 1-1 sessions or dynamic group settings. The program's structure allows for adaptability while ensuring impactful learning experiences. For participants seeking personalised guidance, the 1-1 sessions are designed to be concise yet impactful, lasting for approximately one hour each. Alternatively, for those engaging in a group environment, sessions extend to 90 minutes to 2 hours, allowing for deeper discussions and interactive engagement.

Comprehensive Online Format:

Delivered over five engaging sessions, the workshop navigates through crucial concepts related to domestic abuse and its ramifications on families. Each online session is meticulously curated to provide a comprehensive learning experience, fostering a sense of self-awareness and promoting healthier interactions.

Invitation to Partnership:

While 1-1 sessions offer focused attention, the group format harnesses the power of collective wisdom. Group sessions, however, are conducted exclusively in collaboration with partnering agencies and require active participant recruitment by the commissioning organisation. This approach ensures that participants' journey towards healthier relationships is enriched by diverse perspectives and shared experiences.

Empowerment through Education:

This workshop is more than just a series of sessions; it's an opportunity for growth, self-discovery, and transformation. By the end of the program, participants will not only have a deeper understanding of domestic abuse and its implications but will also be equipped with practical strategies for fostering change within themselves and their relationships.

Note:

The program's effectiveness is enhanced through online resources, videos, and real-life examples. However, the content's suitability is reviewed before inclusion, guaranteeing a safe and insightful learning environment.

FMt is a parenting programme which has been tailored specifically for father figures.

It aims to build on the parenting skills you already have, teaches new strategies and promotes self-esteem.
